ADDICTIVE TV PERFORMING LIVE @ CONCRETE IMAGE STORE

ADDICTIVE TV : Described by Grandmaster Flash as 'next level shit!' and as 'the World's most popular audiovisual artists' by Time Out magazine, the audio/visual breakbeat duo Addictive TV are back at ADE 2008 with a live show, a special talk on all things audio and video, and a month long ADE exhibition of their remix work at Concrete Image.
The trail-blazing producer/artists from London are renowned for their fast-paced movie remixes for Hollywood and kick-ass live shows where what you see is what you hear, and which has now seen them play in over 40 countries, from Brazil to Japan - and even Kuwait! "We mash-up everything!" they happily state "remixing Eminem with Edith Piaf, Elvis Presley with The Streets! We recently made a bootleg drum 'n' bass remix of Led Zep's Black Dog! And even Laurel & Hardy singing has been remixed into breakbeat-ska!!'

Obey Tee 'Hope'

In 2007 OBEY launched what we call "AWARENESS". The goal of this program is to educate people about causes that we believe in and to offer relief through the proceeds generated from the sale of OBEY AWARENESS styles. Over the seasons Obey will be introducing new organizations that they have become involved with and the styles will reflect each individual cause. 100% of the proceeds generated from the sale of the product will go directly to that cause. We thank you for your support and encourage you to learn more about this campaign.

Upper Deck Introduces Marvel X TWEEQiM SubCasts!

They’ve been made into toothbrushes, printed on to t-shirts and underwear, and reproduced in nearly every size and medium imaginable. So when Upper Deck set out to create a new line of collectible figures of Marvel’s iconic characters, the goal was to bring a new look to a license that has existed for nearly five decades. For that difficult task—after all, who isn’t familiar with the classic comic styling of Spider-Man, Captain America and Iron Man—Upper Deck turned to the design studio TWEEQiM based Portland, Oregon. Having moved on from their design jobs with toy giant Mattel over a year ago to broaden their creative horizons, husband and wife design team miQ and Thuy Wilmott created TWEEQiM and quickly landed clients with such as Nike, Pepsi, Kid Robot, and Mirrorball, bringing their unique creative talents and underground aesthetic to secret projects which are only now beginning to surface.
