Bodega x Lacoste Esteban

Bodega x Lacoste Esteban

Lacoste has teamed up with Bodega on the Esteban high top sneaker.

“The Bodega guys were influenced by native-American culture and landscape. The Esteban comes in muted brown shades, and features a collar lining print reminiscent of traditional American Indian art and textiles.

Soft luxurious nubuck uppers feature an embroidered Lacoste croc logo in tone-on-tone light brown and Bodega branding embroidered in the soft leather on the tongue.

Each shoe comes with three sets of interchangeable laces.”

The sneaker will be released limited to 250 pieces on April 3rd.

More detailed images follow after the jump.

Transnaturel - Wibautstraat, Amsterdam

Transnaturel, an exhibition on nature and technology in the Trouw/Verdieping, Wibautstraat, Amsterdam.

Transnatural

Technology was the means by which we separated ourselves from nature, and escaped its limitations. In the 21st century we try to move beyond the animosity between nature and technology. What will this transnatural world look like? Is this perhaps a next evolutionary step or a changing perception of ourselves and nature? Transnatural is the first of two exhibitions and symposia.

DEEP SOUL MUSIC x LACOSTE - Sneaker Releases - Sneaker Freaker Magazine

DEEP SOUL MUSIC X LACOSTE
Lacoste unveils exclusive collaborations with drum and bass label Deep Soul Music (DSM) on the 16th January 2010.
Originally set up in the summer of 2006 to push the more soulful side of drum and bass from new and undiscovered producers, DSM now enjoys an internationally established reputation for breaking new talent around the world. Recognised for their forward-thinking nature and for pushing the boundaries in today's music, the DSM ethos is of innovation and creativity. This perfectly mirrors the spirit of the Lacoste brand: the founding father, René Lacoste, was himself a keen innovator counting the polo shirt and the steel tennis racquet among his creations.
DSM have created a revamped design of Lacoste's perennial classic MISSISSIPPI style. The design uses the unmistakable DSM colour mix of browns, rusty oranges and umbers. The upper materials combine suede, canvas and nubuck to create a luxurious feel and distinctly identify the shoe with DSM. Unique features include the reinforced-plastic crocodile logo on the heel and a DSM-branded in-sock. Two sets of interchangeable laces in brown and orange, complete with DSM-branded aglets are included with each pair. To commemorate this exciting partnership, eight exclusive tracks are being released with the shoe. They will be on a USB key within each shoebox.

These artists have contributed tracks to the compilation:
_ Ben E - UK _ Cern - New Zealand _ FX909 - France _ Nether - Australia _ LSB - UK _ Sinistarr & Stray - USA & UK _ Will Miles - USA _ Zyon Base - UK. In addition, a promotional CD has been produced featuring a mix of Deep Soul Music's back-catalogue of releases. Skilfully blended by rising drum and bass star DJ Fu, this will also be available as a download.
Just 260 pairs of this limited-edition collaboration will be released with distribution in top sneaker stores in the UK, USA, France, Germany, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Spain and Italy.
